Founder of Jos Montessori Reading Centre

In 2017, I founded the Jos Montessori reading centre. The centre was established as a result of poor reading and comprehension skills I noticed among children and youth in my locality. I started the centre with few kids from my neighborhood in order to test the effectiveness of the systematic synthetic phonics progams I bought abroad. To our surprise we were able to make kids and adults read within a period of just 6 months.

After seeing the effectiveness of the phonics programs we are using, I expanded the centre and began giving workshops and consultancy services to schools in my locality.

I am an expert in teaching and training teachers in the following reading programs:

  1. Alpha Phonics A primer for Beginning readers by Samuel Blumenfeld
  2. Jolly Phonics
  3. Phonics Primer by The National Right to Read Foundation
  4. Children Learning Reading by Jim Yang
  5. The THRASS
