Our Dean, Prof. Dr. THEOS SIJRIER, also known around the world as the “King of Actionpainting”, is an artist of abstract expressionism and interactive performance.
THEOS exhibited with such world-famous artists as Pablo Picasso in London, David Hockney in London, Corneille in Eidhoven, Anton Heyboer in Eindhoven, Karel Appel in Rotterdam, Wasseburg Hanshaus in Rotterdam, Willem de Kooning in Zuidwolde, Clive Miller in Zuidwolde and many more.
Works by Theos are in the possession of the Dutch royal family, the Museum of Modern Art (San Francisco), the Clemens-Sells Museum, the Winckelmann Museum, the Erfurt legal house, plus many private collectors.
